OenoSeal™, the industry leading wine liner, is the perfect match for wine bottles and their screwcaps. The liner is made up of different barrier level layers. Unlike cork, an organoleptically neutral liner is in direct contact with the wine, eradicating any risk of taint.
OenoSeal™ liners are available with varying levels of oxygen permeability to suit different wines. As well as preventing wine taint, OenoSeal™ liners deliver high-quality aging and preservation performance more cost-effectively than cork. It is no surprise that hundreds of millions of wine caps are now wadded with OenoSeal™ liners worldwide.
For many years the glass bottle and cork have been the prevalent solution in wine sealing. However, issues with cork taint and access to cork of acceptable quality have led to wine providers exploring other options.
Screwcaps and liners are proven wine sealing technology. Using a specialized OenoSeal™ liner ensures excellent oxygen barrier performance, no negative impact on wines prone to reductive notes, and prevention of volatile sulphur compounds (VSCs) – all from a technology that is less expensive than cork.
