Selig chemical defense laminates are designed to protect people in chemical warfare environments. Our clear military laminates are used in a variety of applications: from gas masks and hoods to rapid deployment field tent structures. These materials are battle tested and have Department of Defense approvals for several NATO countries.
Our protective laminates against chemical warfare agents are designed for high transparency, flame resistance and cold resistance. Some of these materials are in stock and readily available for urgent protection needs.
One of Selig’s great strengths is the ability to deliver high-quality customized solutions for applications not previously available on the market. Examples of our custom solutions include protecting critical components such as batteries, watch parts, and other high-value products that need protection from environmental factors that can reduce their effectiveness or cause damage. Moisture and oxygen can often damage these delicate products. In these cases, a tailor-made solution from Selig often consists of barrier laminates, which are finally processed into a blister pack.
For particularly sensitive products, Selig can apply a unique coating to the inside of the package that will adhere to the surface of the critical component over time, providing additional protection from residual moisture or oxygen that may have been present when the component was originally packaged.
