Anti-Counterfeit Technology

Selig recognizes the increased risk to brand owners' reputations when product authenticity is questioned. Overt strategies like etched foil or color-shifting inks are difficult for would-be counterfeiters to copy. Covert solutions such as UV/IR ink or NFC technology allow for easy identification and tracking of imitation product.

TamperSeal

OTC/pharmaceutical products sold in plastic bottles often require the seal to be hermetic, protecting the product from oxygen and moisture, but also to be tamper evident, usually by means of a tool or having to puncture the liner with your finger. TamperSeal uses a 1/2 moon tab, allowing for consumer convenience while still offering tamper evidence and a hermetic seal. The foil ring left on the land area is consistent and clean allowing for an ideal reseal surface.

GlassFuze™

Two of the greatest benefits of glass are its barrier properties and chemically inert surface. However, sealing to glass has traditionally been very difficult as it does not take to chemical bonds easily. With the GlassFuze™ proprietary heat seal, induction liners overcome these challenges to adhere to glass finishes, even with liquids, powders and oily contents. GlassFuze™ is designed to peel completely from your glass container, leaving a land area ready for dispensing and suitable for glass recycling.
