What your job looks like:

The Sales Manager is responsible for delivering profitable sales growth within a defined territory in the Americas business unit.  The success of the role is measured by revenue and profit performance against budget and historic results, ability to build and execute an opportunity pipeline, open new accounts, penetrate target markets, and successfully sell in Selig’s new products.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience required. MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales or business development with territory revenue of $20 million or greater
  • Experience in the packaging or consumer products industry strongly preferred
  • Exceptionally qualified candidates bring knowledge of container sealing and venting
  • Experience managing strategic and global accounts
  • Proficiency developing a comprehensive relationship map within a customer
  • Experience defining and communicating a value proposition tailored to a customer’s needs
  • Demonstrated results in delivering growth through competitive share gains and opportunity execution
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

 

Pay Range: The compensation range above reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full-time employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location, and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, and certifications.
